With a federal election fast approaching, it is timely that our first event will be a presentation by Dr. David Pearson of the Earth Sciences Department at Laurentian University. His presentation “They’re off and Running, But They Can’t Hide from Green Ideas This Time!” will explore the environmental issues about which we need to be informed in order to challenge politicians as they seek our votes. Dr Pearson will use movie clips and audio visual aids to enliven his presentation and there will be opportunities for questions and discussion.
The event will be held on Friday, September 26th at 7:00 pm at St Peter’s United Church, York Street, Sudbury. This is an important event – please bring along your friends and advertise this event in your churches.
